50M Live Project
This project was a live-brief with a concept store in Victoria called 50M which showcases new designers. The brief asked us to design a new method of retail and use materials to challenge how products are viewed and bought.
I wanted to challenge the current retail model of sizing. Most high fashion clothing is made for slimmer people and when clothes are made specifically for people of a larger size, they are often dull and unflattering. This model is faulty as is it not universal and often garments don't fit people as we are all so different. I wanted to make fun, colourful clothing that celebrates the parts of our bodies that are normally hidden away.
I decided to study hands in my initial drawings as I felt that it signified the embracing of bodies, touching and accepting. I looked at The Simpsons for inspiration as I love the aesthetic and colours used. I am a textile print designer, so I took these drawings to screen printing to create them on fabric.
My final outcome was a printed dress, trousers and top with elasticated holes on the bum, back rolls and stomach. The clothes are adaptable to all sizes, celebrate people of all sizes and are colourful and joyful.

Final Project (completed in lockdown) - Woman 2100
Myy final project began with the title of WOMAN 2100, imagining and designing the clothing that a woman would need for survival in 80 years. I centred this around the climate crisis and began creating a imaginative yet dystopian fashion world. In the early stages of this project, the pandemic began and lockdown was enforced. This seemed strangely appropriate for my project, so when I moved home to my parents house in the countryside I continued to make clothing and accessories from anything I could get my hands on that fit to my original drawings.

Premiere Vision Project - Childhood
Working with children on this project led me to create a nostalgic collection of prints to be sold at Premiere Vision in Paris. Working with childrens drawings, I also drew inspiration from objects and food that children have such as school lunch trays and toys. I also decided to create and experiment with ginghams as this is very nostalgic of my own childhood.
